​A Girl and Her Horse

I started creating clay horses because I see many horses trotting around Wellington, Florida with their majestic beauty. I feel like this couple might belong in the circus or something! The horse has an armature I created from aluminum foil and wire, then covered with air dry clay and painted. The girls face is sculpted from polymer clay, and her dress is made from air dry clay. They give meaning to "Mixed-Media." I used many different materials to create them.
