Beautiful Within is a one-of-a-kind mixed-media art doll created as a reminder that true beauty comes from within.

Her expressive face was hand-sculpted from air-dry clay and carefully painted with layers of acrylic and pastel paints, giving her a soulful and contemplative presence. Her vibrant yarn hair is accented with colorful glass beads that reflect her joyful spirit and unique aesthetic. Delicate hearts painted on the back of her head serve as a hidden reminder of the love and beauty that reside within each of us.

Her dress is a truly unique creation, handcrafted from repurposed tea bag paper and transformed through an extensive mixed-media process. Using a gelli plate, acrylic paints, homemade stencils, stamps, acrylic inks, and layered textures, the dress became a work of art in itself. Throughout the design, the words “Beautiful Within” appear as a gentle affirmation woven into her story.

Her wire arms are wrapped in copper, adding warmth and organic texture. She wears a striking necklace featuring turquoise and complementary stones, along with a decorative belt adorned with vintage light-catching treasures discovered in an antique shop. Crowning her head is an ornate crown that celebrates the beauty, strength, and wisdom she represents.

Every detail of Beautiful Within was created with intention, from her colorful adornments to the meaningful messages hidden throughout her design. She serves as a daily reminder to look beyond appearances and embrace the beauty, kindness, and light that live within us all.
