Ali’s face is hand-sculpted from air-dry clay and painted with acrylic and pastel paints, finished with a beautiful crackle effect. Her outfit is created from wet-strength tissue paper decorated on a Gelli plate using stencils, layered paints, and mixed-media techniques. Her whimsical wire arms and legs give her plenty of personality, and she stands on a hand-painted wooden base made with remnants of her outfit. Inscribed on the base is "humans are complicated."

However, due to the delicate nature of handmade items, slight imperfections or variations may occur, and I cannot guarantee against damage during transit. If your doll arrives damaged or if any parts become loose, they can be easily re-secured with a small amount of super-glue. Please note that returns are not accepted. However, I want you to love your piece, so if there is an issue, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and I will review it on a case-by case basis.
